New HO scale switching layout

Welcome to my new blog.

I decide to write a blog about my new HO scale layout.

 Main characteristics:
  • Modern era
  •  Built as a module, must be easy to move
  • Using some freemo standards
  • Try to be the most realistic
  • Using smd led for day/night
  • Using this small layout in the future to make photos.
  • Hand laid tracks
  • Using #6 turnout

After days and days of research, I decided  to build a small layout. It will be my second layout, the first layout was to big and I can't finish it, so I prefer build a small one more realistic.
It's a switching layout inspired from the switchman's nightmare.

At the beginning, the layout size was 8 ft x 2ft, but I prefer to extend the length 1ft more to have a 9ft x 2ft layout. I use some of Freemo standard to design the layout. The Freemo standard allow to add other sections of layout when i will have more space and allow to build a layout section by section.
For designing my switching layout I use Anyrail. After hours of test and design, I finally have a final design.

Thanks for reading.
